About the product

TOHNAI rayon shirt produced for keylime Tokyo. It is made of yarn-dyed black fabric woven with high-twist rayon of 75/2 cotton count. The shirt has a three-dimensional wrinkled appearance as if it has been washed, but also features the gentle texture of rayon and the pleasant feel of the high-twisted rayon on the skin. In order to stick to a deeper black colour, it is dyed and finished again after weaving.
The studs on the breast pocket are made from 925 silver and originally produced from the mould. The studs are made of solid silver without any extra coating, so you can enjoy the natural darkening and other changes over time.

Mr Tohnai is a self-confessed 'MATERIAL GEEK' (material geek) who has designed for various brands, including MARGARET HOWELL. His own brand TOHNAI, which he started in 2022, produces simple but surprising products. I used one of their inline products last year in the summer and it felt so good. It dries quickly after washing, and above all, the wrinkles are cool. We had such a shirt made for keylime Tokyo in a deeper black. And just for fun, there are silver studs on both sides of the breast pockets. These are hidden by the flap pockets and are not visible, but can be accentuated by movement. The sleeves are rolled up and the shirt is perfect to throw on smoothly.
