About the product

Based on a hunting jacket from the 1940s, this piece is product-dyed to give it an uneven and soft feel. Because people often put their hands in the pockets and take things in and out, the flaps and patches are made as large as possible while considering balance. The front is a fly front, and the buttons are not shown to create a minimalist atmosphere. It is an urban hunting jacket.

Buyer's note
I often see moleskin work jackets at flea markets in Paris, but I've always thought that not many people look good in them. I wanted to create a matte texture with no sheen, so I dyed it with product dye and adopted the flap pockets from the details of old hunting jackets. This is a piece for those who don't like the hard and slippery feel of moleskin.

1894年にフランス・ローヌ地方でデシャン氏とボニー氏によって創業された老舗フレンチワークウェアブランド。
この地域は古くからフレンチモールスキンの生産が盛んで、やがてこの地域に作業服を生産する工場が増え、農業関係者や市場の労働者を対象にワークウェアの生産を始めました。伝統的なモールスキン＝密度高く織り込まれた生地は、当時としては画期的な耐久性を誇り、より頑丈な作業着を求めるワーカーたちに普及し、彼らは自身が生産するワークウェアを1948年「Le Sans Pareil」（ル サン パレイユ）ブランドとし、モールスキンのワークウェアから料理人用ウェアといったプロ仕様まで幅広く展開をし、ワークウェアメーカーへと発展して行きました。
