About the product

We use Dhal's original fabric, which is produced from weaving to finishing in Nishiwaki, Hyogo Prefecture, a region known for its shirt fabric production. By weaving linen and TOP-dyed cotton yarns into the weft, the unique slub texture of linen and the mélange-like colors intertwine, resulting in a grand, profound expression. The yarns, partly dyed with plant-derived dyes, feature a complex interplay of multiple colors, giving both the Navy and Beige a deep, Dhal-esque hue. The fabric offers the pleasant feel of linen that doesn't cling to the skin and just the right amount of crispness. Its charm also lies in how it softens and becomes fuller with repeated washing.

In my personal opinion, the men's shirt is the item that best embodies Dhal's essence. It's roomy and allows for easy movement, yet appears compact due to its balanced design.
