Bawa is a special model developed by premio gordo and keylime owner Seki.
The wooden pattern was made from an old shoe that was lying around in a corner of the workshop, and it has the feel of vintage service shoes, but with elegance.
The third version of the Bawa uses kangaroo leather for the upper. Kangaroo is a light and supple leather that is also used for sports shoes. The rounded heel is made to match the material of the upper, emphasizing the softness of the leather.
The soles are Goodyear welted and the soles are oiled benz.
Buyer's note
Plain toe made with Mr. Tomatsu of premio gordo, who launched the first model in 2022.
The first model was vegetable tanned black, the second one was chrome tanned brown, and the third one is kangaroo leather.
Kangaroo leather is rare in leather shoes, but my personal impression is that it may be similar to goat leather.
The stitching on the upper is casual with thicker thread, the metal tip at the end of the flat cotton strap is matte black, the slit welt is just barely visible, the sole is oiled benz, and the heel rubber is from SVIG of Italy...and the details are as fine as ever. We have put a lot of attention to detail, but what we aimed for as a finished product was "ordinary good-looking leather shoes.
It is actually very difficult to achieve such a balance, and it is only thanks to the premio gordo brand and Mr. Tomatsu's sense of style that we were able to achieve such a beautiful result.
We hope that these shoes will be a pair that will accompany you in your daily life.
