Oblada Authentic Shirt for keylime Tokyo

In today's Journal, I would like to introduce the latest shirt collection from Oblada, a brand we are newly carrying starting from the 26SS season.



keylime Tokyo has been connected with Oblada since our store's opening, consistently offering our men's exclusive "Hemp Denim Pants" made from the brand's original hemp-blend denim fabric. These have now become one of our staple items, enjoyed by many of our customers.



Oblada is a women's brand led by director Shintaro Someya. The brand is characterized by items that are modernly reconstructed based on second-hand and vintage styles.

While it is a women's brand, their approach to material selection, sewing, and tailoring is remarkably authentic, echoing the context of classic menswear.

This balance resonates deeply with the styling proposed by keylime Tokyo, which led us to host an Oblada POP UP EVENT at our store last May.



During that event, they showcased a shirt made from end-on-end (hakume) fabric. The quality of that piece sparked a conversation between keylime's director, Seki, and Oblada's director, Mr. Someya. This exchange became the catalyst for the new items we are introducing today.

Moving forward together, we have developed a shirt design that is truly unisex—distinctly Oblada, yet following the classic menswear sensibilities favored by Seki.

This time, rather than a store exclusive, it has been released as an inline item for the 26SS season.

We have received three colors here at keylime Tokyo.

The two colors starting with "EOE" utilize the end-on-end fabric that served as the inspiration for the creation of this Authentic Shirt.

EOE Green features a pale, matte expression that naturally complements traditional styles.

EOE Blue, while a classic shirt color, has an end-on-end texture that makes it easy to incorporate into casual styling.

The "Blue" option offers a vivid, clear coloration that works perfectly as an accent piece within an outfit.



None of these colors overlap with the shirts currently available at keylime Tokyo, providing a fresh set of variations for you to choose from.



The Authentic Shirt actually began as a menswear project.

Based on Seki's personal experience with classic men's shirts over the years, the size balance and details were

In fact, the shirt boasts a highly authentic construction, featuring classic details such as a split yoke.

The fact that it is reliably made in Japan is another key part of its appeal.



For this release, we have prepared one piece of each color and size that has been pre-washed.

After washing, the fabric develops light, natural wrinkles throughout, creating a finish that can be worn as-is without ironing.

The ability to wear a cotton shirt in its washed-out, natural state is a quality we highly value when selecting shirts for keylime Tokyo.
