About the product

T&S is a label created by Mr Tohnai, who runs TOHNAI, and Mr Seki, owner of keylime Tokyo. The brand name comes from the phrase 'Travel & Stay', which means not only travelling, but also staying in a place, with all functions considered so that you can spend your time there in comfort.
The light and comfortable shirt-like material is characterised by its moderate fullness and elegant luster, made of ultra-long cotton for the warp and *spun silk for the weft. The generous crotch and drawcord allow for a relaxed fit. The tapered silhouette allows you to choose the shoes you want to wear with it.

*Spun silk is made from 'staple fibres', which are silk fibres cut short. The fibres are then intertwined and made into cotton-like yarn. In other words, silk yarn is produced through a 'spinning' process in the same way as wool or cotton yarn is produced. Spun silk is made by spinning short fibres, so it is characterised by a good degree of fullness with plenty of air between the fibres. The luster of silk is largely due to the properties of fibroin, a protein that makes up the fibres, so even spun silk retains a gentle sheen.

Clothes for travelling and staying made by Mr Tohnai (T) and Seki (S).
The waist is designed to be large, so if you tighten the cinch back and adjust the drawcord, you can wear it comfortably with a beautiful silhouette. Personally, I like to wear them with sandals. It's convenient for casual use, but it also makes you feel good and you can enjoy the ageing process that only natural fibres can provide.
