This shirt is an adaptation of an old American work jacket.
Taking a cue from the design in which the fabric is double-layered from the shoulders to the sleeves to keep out the cold, the shirt is made to look like a cape on top of a vest so that it can be worn more easily as a shirt.
The material is a special S H original fabric made of mohair-blend wool yarns, with navy wooden threads woven into the warp and navy and charcoal wooden threads woven into the weft in an alternating pattern.
This shirt has a relaxed silhouette that resembles a work jacket.
Buyer's note
Like the trucker jacket, this shirt is an early model that has been available for a while since S H's first season. When I made this season's wool, I wanted to make this shirt in this style for sure! I was so strongly attached to this shirt that I wanted to make this shirt in this style. The unique shape of the rounded shoulders and the soft wool are a perfect match, resulting in a shirt like no other.
The wool used is alternately woven with navy and charcoal, creating a material with depth like a pattern. The greatest feature of this fabric is that it does not stand out even if dust gets on it. Plain black and navy fabrics require daily brushing and dusting. With this fabric, however, you don't have to worry nervously about a little dust. We are confident that we have created this product with the aim of making it as easy to use in daily life as denim.
