TOHNAI Order Coat Event Starts Tomorrow

The TOHNAI order coat event is finally starting tomorrow, Friday, October 17th.

While the details of the event were already introduced in last week's Journal, in this Journal, we will show photos of the Hooded Coat sample that can actually be ordered, worn by a model, and photos of the materials you can choose from on the day of the event.



First, let's take a look at the photos of the coat being worn.

This is a sample coat in size 2, featuring a wool chambray fabric which will also be available at this event.

The coat has a good length and a relaxed fit in the body, so even for me (178cm tall, 63kg), it doesn't feel too awkward. However, I feel the sleeves are a bit short, so for my height, the size 3, which I will introduce next, would be better.

I recall from last year's event that "sleeve length" was often the deciding factor for customers when choosing their size.

This is size 3. I apologize that it's difficult to see the difference in size from the photo, but for me (178cm tall, 63kg), the sleeve length definitely feels more reassuring.

The neckline is high yet has a spacey design, and the silhouette connecting to the hood when all the buttons are fastened is beautiful.

The generous, enveloping silhouette seems like the drape will change depending on the fabric you choose.

Incidentally, the fabric used for this size 3 is a wool herringbone weave, which was offered at last year's event.

Please note that this fabric is not available as an option this year.



Furthermore, the biggest highlight of this event is the "fabric selection."

It's not just made-to-order; the appeal is that you can select from a limited quantity of fabrics not offered in the standard inline collection to tailor your own unique coat.

Even when purchasing and wearing the same item, hearing about the inspiration for the product and why those particular fabrics were chosen directly from the designer who created it instantly changes the level of satisfaction.
