TOHNAI Order Coat Event 2025

This is Kubo from keylime Tokyo.

In today's Journal post, we'll be providing information about the TOHNAI Coat Order Event we're hosting next week.

This is the same TOHNAI event that was so well-received last year.

Just like last time, this will be a special event where you can select your favorite material and have a one-of-a-kind coat tailored just for you.

First, let's reintroduce the brand.

TOHNAI is a brand that sincerely confronts its materials to spin (create) everyday clothing. keylime Tokyo has carried TOHNAI items since we first opened.



Their reliable craftsmanship is rooted in designer Mr. Tounai's long history in material development and planning. He is known in the industry as a "MATERIAL GEEK" for his continuous pursuit of materials, and he consistently releases items that harness the texture, beauty, and functionality of the materials themselves.

The coat available for this event is a hooded long coat, known as one of TOHNAI's initial collection pieces.

Keylime Tokyo's Director, Seki, is an avid wearer of this early product and has written about its exceptional comfort on his personal blog. If you are interested, please check that out first.

The coat is characterized by its streamlined pattern design and the soft form that shifts with movement. It's a model that can be called the brand's starting point, as it possesses a clear, beautiful construction within its simple, quiet impression.



Just like last time, this will be a pattern order event where you can choose from a variety of materials carefully selected by the designer. We have prepared many options, primarily focusing on wool. What materials will be available will be a surprise for you to discover when you visit the store on the day.

The designer, Mr. Tounai, will also be in attendance on October 18th (Sat).

¥165,000 (Tax included)

Half of the total cost is due at the time of order, and the remaining half is due upon delivery in December.

The latter half of December is just when the cold starts to deepen.

It's a happy point that the coat you ordered will arrive at that exquisite timing, just when you start feeling like you want to wear a wool coat.



Also, as before, each material has limited availability, and the number of possible orders varies per material.

If you are interested, we highly recommend coming early.



We especially recommend Saturday, October 18th, for those of you reading this Journal.
