SUNSEA 31th Collection 3106 Half Zip Blouson

In today's Journal, I would like to introduce the Half-Zip Blouson from SUNSEA's 31st Collection.

The Half-Zip series, introduced this season, is available in three styles: the Blouson, the Cardigan, and the Seventh Parka.

We also carried the Cardigan at keylime Tokyo, but as it has already sold out, the Blouson is currently the only one available.

A collared blouson silhouette featuring a front zip that only closes halfway up.

The "lower half-zip" specification is rare enough on its own, but the choice to use a double zip here reveals that signature SUNSEA playfulness.

(I did some digging while writing this Journal, and it seems this distinctive "front-opening half-zip" design echoes similar shapes released in SUNSEA's past collections.)

While it has a distinctive look, the material is high-quality 100% wool jersey fabric.

With an elegant brushed texture and just the right amount of substance, it is an item with an intriguing balance; depending on how it is styled, it can be worn as a light outer layer like a knit cardigan, or like a collared Melton outer piece.



At keylime Tokyo, we have selected only Black (BK).

The length is set slightly short for a compact fit, while the sleeves are designed to be generously long.

The sleeves feature slits, which add a subtle accent.

With the recent surge in raw material costs and labor fees, prices for domestic brands keep rising. However, I feel it is a very attractive point that a SUNSEA wool item with this amount of volume is available in the 50,000 yen range.

Personally, it feels like winter is arriving earlier this year compared to last.

That makes this an item you'll want to wear "right now," so if you are looking for an outer layer that is just right for the current climate, please definitely consider this as an option.
