S H Wool/Linen Regular Collar Shirt

In today's Journal, I would like to introduce a new material for the Regular Collar Shirt, which has just arrived from S H.

This new shirt is made from an S H original fabric of 60% wool and 40% silk, which has been product-dyed to achieve an atmospheric black finish.

This fabric was originally also offered in its natural, undyed (ecru) state, and in the past, three models were released in the same material: the Regular Collar Shirt, the Western Shirt, and the Fatigue Shirt.

A high-quality blend fabric that combines the suppleness of silk with the body of wool.

In its natural state, it was popular for its elegant drape.



For this new release, this brand-original fabric has been dyed black using product dyeing.

Product dyeing is a technique where the dyeing is done after the product is completed, rather than at the fabric stage.

The washing and heat treatments after sewing give the entire fabric character and create natural puckering around the stitching.

Therefore, the finished shirt has a naturally relaxed impression, and I believe you can feel a new nuance that is different from S H shirts up to this point.

It shrinks slightly during the dyeing process, which emphasizes the wool's texture and gives the entire piece a fuller feel.

While this finish is unique to product dyeing, it is also a key point that the elegance of the silk-blend fabric is firmly retained.

*It is manufactured using a pattern that accounts for the shrinkage from the product dyeing process, so the size balance differs slightly from the previous Regular Collar Shirts.

It has a different, more relaxed atmosphere compared to when it was ecru.

The elegant and supple material is enhanced by the soft shadows characteristic of product dyeing, resulting in a piece with a quiet presence.

This release is a piece that utilizes S H's stocked original fabric, proposed in a new form.



Rather than simply reproducing the exact same item, it is a piece with a slight "twist" added.

It is finished in a way that retains S H's basic aesthetic while also feeling fresh.
