Le Yucca's Cordovan Moccasins

Hello everyone, this is Kubo from keylime Tokyo. Starting tomorrow, we’ll be hosting the Oblada event. We hope you’re looking forward to it as much as we are. In today’s Journal, however, I’d like to introduce the latest arrival from Le Yucca’s: the new Cordovan Moccasins.

Since our opening, we’ve continued to offer special custom orders from Le Yucca’s, and each season they attract a great deal of interest from our customers. Many of you look forward to seeing what new models and materials we bring in, and we’re excited to share this latest pair with you.

This time, the upper is crafted from the finest Italian cordovan, paired with an unlined construction using traditional moccasin stitching. While the moc toe design was also seen in last year’s Le Yucca’s models, this iteration leans more toward a classic moccasin silhouette—with a distinct keylime twist. The luxurious use of cordovan in a tubular moccasin construction, where the upper wraps around and under the foot, results in exceptional flexibility. The unlined interior allows the leather to move freely with the foot, offering a remarkably comfortable and adaptive fit.

The outsole features a leather sole with a rounded edge finish. Built on the Ball last, the silhouette carries a distinctly American character, yet retains an air of refinement. It’s a casual design, but unmistakably extraordinary in presence—a pair that quietly commands attention at your feet.

With outstanding flexibility and an unlined construction, the leather moves naturally with each step, delivering a remarkably comfortable fit. The color is a classic dark burgundy—subtle variations in tone appear where the leather is pulled over the last, creating unique depth and luster only cordovan can offer. It’s the kind of shoe that will make footwear enthusiasts do a double take: “Wait, Le Yucca’s made something like this?”

Interestingly, keylime Tokyo is the only retailer that places cordovan orders with Le Yucca’s, making this a rare configuration you won’t find elsewhere. Each pair also comes with genuine Le Yucca’s shoe trees.
