A Weekend with Oblada at keylime Tokyo

Hello everyone, this is Kubo from keylime Tokyo. Following last week’s HÉLÈVE event, we’re excited to be hosting another special event this weekend. From Friday, May 31st to Monday, June 2nd, we’ll be holding a POP UP STORE for Oblada—the brand developed by CINCH in Yoyogi-Hachiman—right here at keylime Tokyo.

In addition to the keylime-exclusive Hemp Denim Pants—a staple item we’ve carried since the opening of keylime Tokyo—this POP UP EVENT will feature a lineup of menswear-friendly pieces made from Oblada’s original hemp-blend denim fabric, including items from their main collection. It’s a great opportunity to fully experience the world of Oblada through a wide variety of items.

We’re also excited to introduce a special cap made exclusively for this event, available only at keylime Tokyo during the POP UP.

At keylime Tokyo, we carry a wide range of denim pants, but one of the most popular styles—thanks to its soft hemp blend and incredible comfort—is the Hemp Denim Pants by Oblada. This exclusive version was born from a chance encounter about two years ago between keylime Tokyo director Seki and Oblada director Someya.

This spring, the lineup was refreshed with the addition of a new Ivory color, and we’ve been pushing the piece once again as a seasonal essential. During the POP UP EVENT, we hope to share a range of styling ideas that highlight Oblada’s unique approach, including our exclusive Hemp Denim Pants.

Oblada director Someya will also be in-store on Saturday, May 31, offering styling suggestions in person—a great opportunity to engage directly with the brand. Though Oblada is a women’s label, the items featured at the event include pieces easily adaptable for men’s styling as well, offering a different take from our usual selection at keylime Tokyo.

Also launching during the event is a keylime-exclusive cap, with other featured items being shared throughout the event on our Instagram Stories—be sure to check those for the latest updates.
