As we move into mid-January, our new arrivals are starting to trickle in. However, the cold reality is that winter attire will remain essential until around late February.

Even so, this is the time of year when we start craving a sense of "lightness" in our styling.

To suit that current mood, in this Journal, I would like to propose the denim jacket as the perfect transitional piece.

This version in Navy features one-wash denim made from "kibata" (loom-state) fabric.

By using Suvin cotton for the weft, it achieves a remarkably soft texture and supple comfort that is unexpected for denim.

It is a quintessentially CIOTA piece—balancing elegance and comfort while retaining the authentic, broken-in character of unsanforized kibata fabric.

This is the Medium Dark Blue (Damage) version, featuring realistic fading and distressed detailing.

Compared to denim pants, denim jackets typically take much longer to show significant signs of aging. Since this item is based on 1950s vintage patterns, the authentic, lifelike aging process provides an immediate boost to your style.

The other model from EYELIM is a more classic jacket style.
