Today, we are introducing the CIOTA New Single Pocket Denim Jacket.

CIOTA offers several variations of denim jackets, but at keylime Tokyo, we carry this Single Pocket type.

This jacket features a single flap pocket, a back cinch, and front pleats, all of which contribute to its refined yet minimal design. Rather than stripping away the classic details of a typical denim jacket, it maintains vintage-inspired elements while achieving a sophisticated balance.

The fabric is made from 13.5oz pure indigo selvedge denim, woven on an old-style shuttle loom. The warp threads are rope-dyed with natural indigo, creating a slub texture, while the weft threads use CIOTA’s signature ultra-long staple SUVIN cotton.

Additionally, the fabric remains in its raw state, meaning it has not undergone desizing, shrink-proofing, skew prevention, or singeing treatments. This allows for natural shrinkage and twisting over time, enhancing the authentic character of denim and its evolving texture with wear.

While undeniably casual, this jacket also exudes a certain elegance, enhancing its presence as a denim jacket. It is available in two colors: Navy and Medium Dark Blue (Damage), and comes in two sizes: 44 and 46. The overall impression changes significantly depending on the color and size, making each variation feel distinct.
