CIOTA MA-1 Flight Jacket

In today's Journal, I would like to introduce CIOTA's MA-1 Flight Jacket.

This item arrived a little while ago.

The mornings and evenings in Tokyo have started to get chilly, so many of you might be starting to look for outerwear.

I'm introducing it at this time, hoping it might serve as one of your options.

CIOTA's MA-1 has been a long-running staple item, but this season, the material has been completely updated.

It now features an original blended fabric, using nylon for the warp and Suvin cotton for the weft, as is characteristic of CIOTA.

The fabric has a soft luster, achieved through liquid flow dyeing, a process where the dye slowly permeates along the flow of the material.

The volume around the shoulders has been reduced, giving it an update with a smoother texture and a more elegant appearance compared to the previous season's model.

While retaining the framework of military wear, it exudes a softness typical of CIOTA.

The item is finished in a way that strongly reflects the CIOTA designer's philosophy of reconstructing the original in a modern way through CIOTA's unique interpretation, rather than simply replicating it.

At keylime Tokyo, we were drawn to the Charcoal color, so this is the only one we selected.

It's a color that truly captures the essence of this reinterpreted MA-1, which is designed to blend seamlessly into the city.

It also pairs perfectly with CIOTA's Charcoal chino pants, which are from the same brand.

The similar tones create a cohesive look, resulting in a style that isn't excessively rugged and that we believe can be recommended to a wide range of people.
