Le Yucca's, an Italian luxury leather brand that has been regularly releasing new items at keylime Tokyo since its opening, has been supported by many leather shoe lovers, and now they are adding a new lineup of boots to their lineup. The characteristic point of these boots, which is unique to keylime, is the shiny and heavy black box calf used for the upper.
Although Le Yucca's leather shoes have a strong image of being made of vegetable-tanned leather, all of keylime Tokyo's orders have been made of box calf.
Box calf has a darker black color, and although it lacks flexibility, its firmness makes it difficult to scratch, and it has a beautiful crease that deepens as it is worn, increasing its value as a pair that can be worn for a long time.
The shoes are made to order using the Goodyear method, which is known for its excellent durability. When you think of Le Yucca's, you may have a strong image of the Mackay method.
However, most of the keylime lineup is made using the Goodyear method. This method has the practical aspect that the sole can be replaced semi-permanently as long as it is well cared for, but it also affects the tension of the sole and makes it look a little rugged.
