In this week's Journal, we are excited to introduce the latest arrivals from Dhal.

One is a pair of pants that lets you embrace the essence of spring a step ahead of the season, and the other is a wardrobe staple in which we place our absolute trust.

Two pairs of bottoms with contrasting charms have just arrived.

First up is the corduroy pants, a completely new addition for this season.

While these are part of Dhal’s initial drop for the season, they feature a 16-wale fine-cut corduroy.

The word "corduroy" might bring to mind a strong winter image, but it is actually a material that proves its true worth in spring and summer—offering excellent moisture absorption and breathability, a reason it has long been favored by the surfing community.

Dhal regularly releases corduroy pieces for their Spring/Summer collections, but this marks the first time we are carrying them at keylime Tokyo. We have selected this refreshing Sax Blue for our shop.

The silhouette is a relatively clean, 5-pocket straight cut.

The lightness unique to fine-wale corduroy, combined with this exquisite coloring, brings that signature Dhal uplift to a basic outfit.

The second piece is the Wool Gabardine Chino, which is quickly becoming a signature staple for Dhal.

Following an enthusiastic response at keylime Tokyo, we are pleased to offer them once again.

Based on a vintage chino silhouette, these pants exude a unique presence, elevated by the refined drape of high-quality wool gabardine meticulously woven from 72-count two-ply yarn.

Wool for a pair of chinos?

It may seem like an unexpected combination, but the result is a pair of refined work pants where elegance and a relaxed feel coexist.
