CIOTA New Straight 5 Pocket Pants in Medium Black

Hello everyone.

This is Kubo from keylime Tokyo.

This is the second consecutive day that I'm updating our journal.

Today, I would like to introduce the newly arrived CIOTA New Straight 5 Pocket Pants in Medium Black.

While it's a new arrival, it's actually an additional color for the New Straight 5 Pocket Pants we already carry.

This time, we only have one new color: Medium Black.

There are six colors in total, and keylime Tokyo has previously carried Navy and Medium Dark Blue (Medium Dark Blue is now sold out).

For keylime Tokyo, this Medium Black is the third color to be offered.

Of course, this pair shares the same characteristics as other CIOTA denim: it's made from shrink-proof, non-skew raw fabric woven on an old-fashioned power loom (shuttle loom) with Suvin cotton used for the weft yarn.

Unlike the Navy and Blue colors, which use genuine indigo dye, the Black color is dyed with sulfur dyes.

Additionally, the Medium Black has been expertly faded by CIOTA, giving the fabric a rich variation in tone. This makes it a versatile pair (or color) that fits well into any casual setting.

Earlier this year, Seki, the director of keylime Tokyo, appeared in a video for GUIDE by ISETAN MITSUKOSHI to introduce CIOTA's New Straight jeans.

In the latter half of the video, Mr. Tashiro from the GUIDE crew wears the Medium Black pair. The video, which showcases the appeal of the CIOTA New Straight 5 Pocket Pants through different stylings, is definitely worth a watch.
